WGC WAG GYMNASTS COMPETE IN MAREEBA COUNTRY CHALLENGE 16 - 18 MAY 2025

Congratulations to the WAG gymnasts who travelled to Mareeba on for the Mareeba Country Challenge competition. This is the first Gymnastics Australia sanctioned competition WGC has ever competed in!  This gave our WAG gmynasts the opportunity to receive their grade (level), an important step in their gymnastics journey as it allows them to work through a levels based framework and therefore continually improve. A huge congratulations to ALL the girls who competed, a daunting experience considering for many it was their first competition and especially considering WGC has only been running the WAG program since the beginning of 2025! A special mention to Elsa Glassborrow who took home 2nd for her floor routine and 3rd for her beam routine.
